This is My Story

I have been on a journey of seeking a means of living my heart connection for many years.  In my work and in my writing, I seek to help others engage more fully with their own healing journey and heart and soul connection.

What I offer is meant to help evoke your own response, ideas, insights and awareness into what sustains and fulfills you. About 15 years ago, I took part in a program called Transforming Your Working and Living.  The ideas set forth in this program sent me on a quest to learn how I can bring more balance and harmony into my working and living.

I wanted to be engaged in the world in ways that are meaningful for me, yet also allowed me to give back to my community, my family and friends.  What I wanted most, was a way of living that was sustainable; sustainable for me and for the world around me.

What I have discovered through my seeking is the journey inward, journey outward way of being called the contemplative way of life.  This is a rhythmic way of life in which we can turn inward with our questions, our concerns, our joy, our struggles and listen to our hearts, our bodies, our souls, and find guidance and wisdom.  Then we journey back outward, into the world with what we have learned.  There is a balance in this kind of being between action and reflection, being and doing.  This journey inward, journey outward approach to living has enabled me to stay true to myself and to live in alignment with my heart and soul.

I have worked in the Health and Wellness industry for over 15 years and I am passionate about the intersection of Spirituality and Health.  I believe that there is a deep connection between attending to our spiritual lives and our health.  I know that when I tend to my spirit, I am a more vibrant, grateful, creative person.  I also know that I shine with vitality when I am in harmony with my heart and soul.

I have spent the past 12 years learning practices to guide people to the place where they can listen to their own inner wisdom of body, heart and soul.  I find it the most rewarding work that I can be doing and the most satisfying kind of life I could be living.
